For more than 35 years, the brands of Franchise Services, Inc. have been serving the needs of businesses throughout the country and around the world.

Franchise Services, Inc. developed from the franchising experience our management team has garnered from decades of managing established brands.

In 1977, Kampgrounds of America (KOA), a successful franchise in the hospitality industry, purchased the assets of Sir Speedy Printing, a large but struggling printing and copying network. Tenure managers, including CEO, Don Lowe, were installed to bring the principals of financial and brand management to Sir Speedy and its franchisees.

Within a short period of time, Sir Speedy had grown to 800 centers worldwide and led the industry with sales per unit, depth of services and profitability for its franchisees. Sir Speedy, Inc. became the nucleus around which the Franchise Services corporation would be forged.

In 1996, Sir Speedy continued it's growth by acquiring MultiCopy and PIP Printing & Document Services, two respected brands in the printing industry. At this time, Franchise Services, Inc. was officially established.

Established in 1968, PIP was the first franchise organization in the printing industry that also became the nation's largest and most well recognized printing franchise. In 1965, PIP was founded by Bill LeVine who converted the front of his commercial printing plant into a "while-you-wait" print center. Three years later, three PIP franchise locations opened in Los Angeles, CA., heralding the beginning of the quick printing industry. Since those early days, PIP has continued to distinguish itself as an industry leader.

MultiCopy is the largest network of business printing centers in Europe. MultiCopy began in 1972, with headquarters and their first franchise in Amsterdam, Holland. As part of the Moore Corporation, MultiCopy grew into the best-known brand in the Netherlands, with almost 100 centers. The company soon expanded into other countries, including France, Poland and Austria. Today, as part of the Franchise Services, Inc. family, MultiCopy continues its leadership position in the Netherlands.

By the late 1990's, Franchise Services, Inc. represented more than 5 name brands, with Digital QuickColor (a research and development facility opened in 1992) and Summit Marketing Communications (an advertising and marketing company established in 1994) providing support to the Franchise Services network of franchisees.

Franchise Services, Inc. continued to develop its Global Digital Network through the 1990's and into the next century, being one of the first in the franchise industry to successfully and profitably exploit the power of the Internet to help its franchisees sell more.

In 2004, Franchise Services, Inc. expanded its strategy to provide a more comprehensive range of services to businesses by creating TeamLogic IT, a new franchise company dedicated to solving the technology, infrastructure and support needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
